OLD INGOT SILVER BRACELET BY NOTED SILVERSMITH ....
Born of Cherokee German Descent, "Buffalo" is a self taught Smith which has been working in the "Old School Tradition" for over Three Decades (30 years+).
Most of his work is INGOT SILVER with Hand Filed Stamps which he makes himself. This particular example is created with an INGOT BAR, Hand Filed with his personal Hand Made Stamps. Beautiful Repousse along with Deep Stamp Work, make this an Exceptional example of Native American Silver smithing.
Most of his pieces are quite often sold as 1920 - 1935 NAVAJO MADE both online and at large auction houses throughout America.
"Buffalo" is regularly being commissioned to Fashion Custom Pieces and prototypes for designer giant Ralph Lauren.. His work can be found in the collections of Robert Redford, Oprah, Jane Fonda, Bruce Springsteen and Host of Others. And some end up in the High End shops in Galleries of the Southwest.
You will see tiny superficial stress cracks at the edges of the bracelet and the texturing of the back which typify the INGOT Forging processes.
A work of ART... PLAIN AND SIMPLE!

OLD Navajo/Zuni INGOT SILVER CHANNEL INLAY BRACELET
Scatched on the back are the letters "CED" which most likely is a Code or Traders Mark.
This COIN SILVER INGOT BRACELET was probably a collaboration of a ZUNI and a NAVAJO Silversmith.
The Outside Bands are Swedged Carinated INGOT Bars Hand Filed and Stamped. The Inner Band is an INGOT Square SILVER Rod... Channel Inlay with HIGH GRADE TURQUOISE... Forged together, it was truly made for an Individuals use, not a Tourist Piece.
